Description
Renewable scholarship grants to African American men from the Puget Sound region enrolled in college or universities. The key mission of the Alpha Omicron Boulé of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity is to positively influence the community by playing a key role in the education of African Americans. Its scholarship program will identify promising high school seniors in the Puget Sound region who have potential to enter and successfully complete a vocational or academic college program and who have financial need. A major aim of the program is to provide assistance and mentoring to students that will enhance their opportunities for academic success. |
Criteria/Eligibility
- African American male in the Puget Sound region.
- High School senior.
- Academic Achievement.
- Evidence of extracurricular activites.
- Evidence of community involvement.
- Financial need.
- Cannot be the son of a Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity Member.

Additional Instructions
Letters of Recommendation specifics: One letter of recommendations should be from an adult at your school that states reasons why you could use the scholarship.
