Many donors want to learn and give with other donors who share their interests. The Seattle Foundation makes this possible by facilitating donor events and discussions with experts about specific topics and helping donors pool resources to increase their impact. To get involved, contact us.

Global Giving Interest Group

Donors interested in supporting causes and organizations outside the United States can benefit from The Seattle Foundation’s grantmaking consulting and events about overseas philanthropy. The Foundation facilitates an interest group of fundholders who meet quarterly to discuss international grantmaking. Contact globalgiving@seattlefoundation.org for more information.

The Seattle Foundation's Education Blog

The Seattle Foundation is working to improve education at every point along the continuum—from early childhood learning to K–12 classrooms and adult workforce training. To inform our donors and others interested in philanthropy in education and the Foundation's work at all stages of learning, we started GivEd, an education blog and online resource.

The School of Life Project

The 5000 Days Project started with a plan to interview 60 children in the Seattle area annually for 13 years (5000 days) and ask each one a series of questions that would reveal what it’s like to grow up in America today.

Kaylene Keller Memorial Scholarship

The Kaylene Keller Memorial Scholarship Fund will help students who, like Kaylene, want to pursue their dream of entering the field of digital game animation.
