Sea Mar specializes in providing bilingual, bicultural services. Clinics accept many forms of public insurance that traditional health care providers do not. Medical, dental, chemical dependency and mental health services are provided to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay.
Best Practices
Sea Mar has begun redesigning its practice model to support mid-level physicians through the Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner model. The utilization of ARNPs helps to meet productivity goals, ease scheduling pressure, and ensure that patients are receiving a high level of care.
Financial Health
Sea Mar is working to improve organizational efficiencies and effectiveness to save money. One example of this is by switching to an electronic payroll system organization wide. A new electronic medical records system is also helping the organization streamline internal processes and procedures.
