Senior Services has been working to actively increase its private fundraising program by building relationships with family foundation board members, and increasing its support from civic organizations. The Board of Senior Services is highly engaged with a 98% participation rate.

The Aging Your Way program features digital books, online planning tools, and community organizing around engaging the Baby Boomer generation of retirees. Senior Services excels at entrepreneurial activities in the private sector which helps the agency raise revenue while decreasing its dependency on public funding.
Cultural Competency
A team of full time staff members are dedicated to cultural competency training for all staff, as well as ensuring culturally appropriate services for clients. Senior Services has seen a 400% increase in Asian Pacific Islander seniors participation in the Meals on Wheels program since including rice as a side dish last year.
Financial Health
Senior Services experienced modest cuts in the most recent state budget process. To counteract this, Senior Services has put additional emphasis on private fundraising and increased board engagement.
