The Seattle Foundation is one of the largest private funders of nonprofit organizations in King County.

It funds broadly, seeking to build a healthy community where all residents thrive. Through its competitive grants programs and at the recommendation of donor advisors, it gives grants to hundreds of nonprofits working on a wide variety of issues.

The Seattle Foundation Grantmaking Program invests in effective nonprofit organizations in King County that contribute to a healthy and vibrant community.

Grant deadline: Quarterly (Jan. 15, Apr. 15, Jul. 15 and Oct. 15)
Neighbor to Neighbor, The Seattle Foundation's Small Grants Program, makes technical assistance and grants available to organizations located in the Kent, South Seattle, and White Center neighborhoods.
Applications accepted anytime and considered spring and fall.
Providing grants to organizations in Snohomish County that seek to improve the lives of children, youth and families.

The Benjamin N. Phillips Memorial Fund awards grants to a broad range of charitable organizations improving the lives of Clallam County residents.

Made to organizations serving King County that either conduct medical research in the fields of cancer, heart disease, multiple sclerosis or diabetes, or address the healthcare needs of children.
