Bainbridge Graduate Institute

Description

At BGI, we harness the power of business—society’s most influential institution—by integrating environmentally and socially responsible innovations with traditional business education, enabling future and current business leaders to create a sustainable world. Our graduates' successes inspire the greater business community to make sustainability more integral to their organizations. Sustainability is now becoming an industry standard, and our mission of changing business for good is leading to worldwide progress.

Mission Statement
To prepare students from diverse backgrounds to build enterprises that are financially successful, socially responsible and environmentally sustainable.

We mean this mission in the broader sense - not only preparing our own students, but also helping other business schools integrate sustainability (i.e., environmental and social responsibility) into the heart of their programs.

Recent Successes and Current Challenges

Recent Success
This year BGI launched two strong partnerships at our new Seattle learning site.
1. The OSR Master’s degree program. This program brings more than thirty years of experience in equipping leaders to design and guide major northwest organizations such as Boeing and Microsoft.
2. The Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship. In collaboration with mission aligned partners, BGI’s Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship executes “first step” entrepreneurship programs and projects for entrepreneurs in under-served communities.
