Bellevue Chamber Chorus Programs
Each season the Bellevue Chamber Chorus provides at least three different programs as part of the season series. These programs are designed to entertain, educate and expand the choral arts awareness in the community. Programs include sacred and secular music, folk, spiritual, classical, modern and commissioned pieces in various styles and culturally diverse music (all performed in its native language). Concerts have included and continue to include youth choirs, instrumentalists, soloists, dance groups and other choral organizations.
Recent Successes and Current Challenges
The Bellevue Chamber Chorus recently premiered a new commissioned piece through Chorus America for the March performances at the Theatre at Meydenbauer Center. The Chorus often premiers new arrangements or commissioned pieces as part of its goal to educate and enhance the enjoyment of music. One of the organization's current needs in our current economy is funding for operational expenses that include venue costs and music purchase, which continue to increase each season.
