Feed Washington

Description

Feed Washington believes it is the responsibility of all non-hungry adults in Washington to eradicate childhood hunger in our State. We ask those adults who aren’t hungry to commit to a small recurring, tax deductible, credit card donation in an amount they won’t notice on their monthly credit card bill. Maybe for you it’s $1, $5 or $50. The individual amount doesn’t matter; it’s the collective impact that is important. One-time donations are, of course, gladly accepted.

Eradicating childhood hunger doesn’t require finding a cure. The solution, as we all know, lies simply in applying money to the purchase and distribution of food. Since our State’s hungry kids can’t feed themselves, it is our responsibility to help them until they can. Please join us in ending childhood hunger.

Mission Statement
Feed Washington's mission is to end childhood hunger in Washington State. Over 400,000 children go hungry in our State on a daily basis. Feed Washington feels this is unacceptable and is committed to doing whatever it can to make sure every child in Washington State has enough to eat every day.

Feed Washington pools the individual donations and distributes funds to those organizations who are on ground level, with a proven track record of efficiently and effectively feeding our State’s kids. We maximize the impact of your donation by actively seeking out matching opportunities and by the fact that all of Feed Washington’s operating expenses (other than credit card processing fees) are underwritten by Sterling, Johnston Real Estate & Property Management.
