Give2Cuba Programs

In 2010, working with partners in the U.S. and in Cuba Give2Cuba worked in three areas:

Health
We sponsored meals for thousands of low-income seniors.

Youth Empowerment
We supported the purchase and distribution of cell phones for Cuban youth, to provide channels of freedom of expression and greater communication with U.S. youth through regular conference calls and other exchanges.

Public Awareness
We sponsored the Seattle premier of “Oscar’s Cuba”, the story of a prisoner of conscience currently serving a 25-year prison sentence for the crime of “disrespecting the revolution” through his promotion of human rights, democracy and respect for human life in Cuba.

Recent Successes and Current Challenges

Give2Cuba wants to expand support and communication to networks working to help improve the lives of people living in Cuba.
