Recent Successes and Current Challenges

The goal of the Greater Everett Community Foundation is to improve the quality of life in Snohomish County. We are accomplishing this is through our Philanthropic Investment Framework called the Pillars of our Community. This framework focuses on six core elements that are interwoven and are critical to creating and maintaining a healthy community:

  • Arts & Culture
  • Environment
  • Community
  • Health & Wellness
  • Education
  • Human Services

Through our donor funds we have been able to fund programs in all of these core areas. Now, our Foundation is adding additional resources by creating a permanent endowment in each of the Pillar areas. The Board has approved $75,000 as matching incentive for anyone that is willing to contribute a minimum of $10,000 to fund one of the remaining three pillar funds-Education, Environment and Health & Wellness. Our goal is to create a permanent endowment for each of the Pillar areas starting at $50,000.
