Programs

Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Programs

The Seattle Metro Chamber has three primary areas of focus:
  • Business development
Eighty percent of businesses served by the Chamber employ less than 100 people and one-third of those are micro-enterprises with less than 10 employees. We provide the tools these businesses need to grow, with our unique value being in the variety of services offered. Programs range from our Business Health Trust, which provides highly-competitive employee benefits like health insurance, to our role as the largest and most professional source for relationship building and employee training in the greater Seattle area.
  • Community leadership and engagement
The Chamber builds coalitions to improve the health of our community. In these efforts, we work across traditional divisions, partnering with labor, environmental groups, educators, other nonprofits and the public sector. We are also the bridge to underrepresented economic constituencies through our relationships with the region’s ethnic chambers of commerce and business development organizations.
  • Advocacy
We are the subject matter expert on issues related to business and we advocate for the advancement of public policies that enhance job creation and economic competitiveness.
