Holy Rosary Parish Programs
St. Vincent de Paul Society offers help to the parish and extended community. We have a food bank generously supplied and staffed by parishioners. We also, upon request, offer financial aid to persons or families in need of shelter, rental assistance, utility bill assistance or other monetary needs as we have the funds available; also generated by our very generous parishioners.
Outreach to the sick and grieving - we have a very active parishioner based community who offer service to the sick of the parish by prayer, visitation, offering the sacraments and assistance as needed. Ill parishioners are strongly supported throughout the illness and the family is guided through the grieving process when a death occurs. We also offer grief counseling, individual and group, and have a psychologist part-time to assist any one in the community through any difficulty they might be experiencing in their life.
Holy Rosary School is a fully accredited through NAAS and state approved institution. Curriculum follows the guidelines for WA State and is guided by our published Mission/Philosophy Statement and School Wide Learning Expectations. Students leave well prepared for high school studies.
Recent Successes and Current Challenges
Care of the sick and dying regardless of religious affiliation.
We are in the process of doing a Capital Campaign to generate funds to build a new Parish Center. The current facility has badly deteriorated and needs replacement.
