Renton Community Foundation Programs

We offer donors the ability to establish charitable funds to meet their personal philanthropic goals without the cost or hassle of starting their own private foundation.

We may serve as the tax umbrella for select emerging philanthropic organizations in our community.

We provide expertise and education to our local nonprofits in an attempt to strengthen their ability to provide critical services to those in need.

Recent Successes and Current Challenges

We have launched an effort to help low-income and homeless people meet their transportation needs through our new Community Benefit Fund.

We serve as the tax umbrella for the Friends of Renton Schools Fund which has raised over $400,000 in two short years to help bridge the funding gap within the Renton School District.

We provide a host of services to our community and our fund-holders with only one staff person and a paper thin budget.  We are limited in doing more without additional staff and infrastructure.
