Restore and Repair Missionary Outreach

Description

R & R Outreach is made up of four components. We believe in the holistic approach for the stability of our clients. Nutrition and Health, Re-Entry, Youth Empowerment, Domestic Violence ( Both for men and women).

We serve a large population dealing with mental health, chemical dependency and the criminal justice system. As we are expanding we are finding the need to bridge the gap for the African American Community and Cultural Diverse Communities.

Our goal is to empower, strengthen, a community that has for history seen themselves as a people who are underserved.
We supply them with the tools needed to become stable in society such as counseling, referrals for housing ( permanent, transitional,ect..) life coaching for those who are ready to start there own businesses. We teach those who have come out of the criminal justice system how to apply there negative skills towards the good of all mankind. A transforming organization would be a great description of what we are about for more information please contact us.

Re-entry Program
This program is unique. It consists of rebuilding the lives of youth and families. We realize that some of our individuals are victims who never have worked a job in their life. We link them to trainings, education, job readiness, etc. We assist with creating resumes, computer lab, 1-1 interviews in preparation of finding them permanent work. Helping the transition back into the community. Note:
this is not a re-entry program just for ex - felons.

Recent Successes and Current Challenges

I would like to say they greatest success is the men who have recently came forth about the abuse they have lived with and for some they are still in. Society has only seen women as victims, but through testimony of our founder we have discovered that men need support from domestic violence.

We just recently had a man walk away from a marriage where he had been being beat with clothes hangers and other objects for over 25 years by his spouse. Through a mutual friend this man was able to find freedom and the joy. He is now speaking to other men about the pain and shame he carried for years.

Our current need is a men's shelter for domestic violence, we are seeking partnerships for a building that would be a place of refuge for the broken, please join us in our efforts to bring community awareness to this situation.
