Riverview Education Foundation Programs

REF is an integral partner in the success of Riverview School District.

Each year, the Foundation engages in purposeful fundraising programs such as our Evening for Education Dinner Auction, On Par for Education Golf Tournament, Run Duvall 5K/10K, Irwin Group Half Marathon, ThanksGIVING direct give program and most recently...The Big Give!

We believe that success for our students is about supporting the whole child. REF has put particular focus in Health and Wellness by having a dedicated event (Run Duvall) as well as specific funds designated to provide grants in this area.

The annual grant awards program encourages innovation, creativity, purposeful use of funding and the ability to reach the greatest number of students. We have had the pleasure of supporting programs in every school in our district, in all areas of study, as well as supporting district initiatives such as assisting with the implementation of new curriculum.

REF also believes that community engagement is a critical component in accomplishing our goals. With this in mind, we strive to have strong presence in the community. We create a welcome place for parents, grandparents, and neighbors to get involved in supporting the well-being of children through participation, volunteerism or financial contribution. Our events draw hundreds of unique guests and we are encouraged by the depth of those willing to get involved, for the kids.

Recent Successes and Current Challenges
