The Funhouse Discovery Center of Orcas Island

Description

The Funhouse is an incredible facility that provides the children of Orcas and neighboring islands with educational classes, hands-on science exhibits, a professional recording studio with musical instruments, play areas, a video production studio, computer labs, and an extensive library of educational books and films. We also offer an array of classes for adults. But The Funhouse is much more that an incredible educational facility. We have become a provider of some of the most critical social services in our community. Thanks to our innovative programs, The Funhouse has become not just a place for fun and learning, but also a critical social safety net for island children.

Mission Statement

To serve the urgent needs of young people by providing a safe and stimulating environment where the community can learn, discover, create, socialize, and be heard.
