Edmonds Public Education Foundation Programs
The Edmonds Public Schools Foundation supports our 20,000 students in the Edmonds School District which serves the communities of Edmonds, Lynnwood, Brier, Mountlake Terrace and Woodway. We collaborate with the District by aligning our funding efforts to support the District's program priorities. Efforts include supporting: Science, Technology, Enginnering & Math (STEM), career and college readiness for all, after school enrichment programs, additional learning support for at-risk students, classroom and school wide learning environment grants distributed annually.
Recent Successes and Current Challenges
The Edmonds Public Schools Foundation recently raised over $31,500 to support our new district wide STEM programs; $15,000 in support of Rachel's challenge, an anti-bullying campaign; over $20,000 for health and wellness; and, most proudly over $30,000 for classroom and school grants.
The need for classroom and schools support has increased dramatically. This year, the Foundation received over 55 grant requests totalling over $87,000 - nearly triple the request from last year. By giving today, you will help us to bridge the gap in our classrooms and help us to fund the staggering request for additional support.
