Wenatchee Valley Symphony Association 

Description

Founded in 1947, The Wenatchee Valley Symphony is an inter-generational group amateur musicians from all walks of life, with varying degrees of musical backgrounds. The Symphony is led by Music Director and Conductor Dr. Nikolas Caoile. Nikolas is Director of Orchestral Activities at Central Washington University.

The Association is operated by a volunteer board of directors with support from a volunteer guild. More than 5,000 hours are donated annually by members of the board and guild.

Programs

Wenatchee Valley Symphony Association Programs

The Symphony performs four symphony concerts per season. Development includes establishing a strong educational outreach program for both adults and students.

Recent Successes and Current Challenges

In July 2012, the Community Foundation of North Central Washington staged a 25th Anniversary celebration. The evening culminated with the Symphony playing Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture to fireworks overhead.
