Recent Successes and Current Challenges

Recent Successes
  • In November 2012 WIN traveled with a team to Kinangop, Kenya to provide skill and leadership training to pastors and community leaders. Leaders were trained in Red Cross First Aid and CPR, financial management, social media, environmental issues and violence against women. The team also distributed 300 first aid kits and other medical supplies during the course of the training.
  • The leaders that participated in the training said it was "relevant to them unlike any other they have attended and there was a great change in attitude among the people".

Our organization's greatest current need is funding for educational materials.
