Our 2009 report, A Healthy Community: Strategies for Effective Giving, presents The Seattle Foundation's comprehensive recommendations for improving the well-being of our community through strategic giving. Drawing on a vast combination of sources and voices, it identifies specific areas where our collective focus can make the biggest difference.

The report features a chapter dedicated to each element of a healthy community—including issues and solutions, ways individuals can give strategically and examples of effective organizations.
