Grantmaking Opportunities

Timely and Relevant Giving

Whether you are making a grant from your donor advised fund or a one-time contribution, we offer opportunities to help leverage your impact.

Current Opportunities

The Seattle Foundation's Grantmaking Program
The Foundation’s grantmaking program directs funds to help ensure the most effective programs and organizations in our region—those that might otherwise be underfunded due to high demand—receive the support they need. These proposals are thoroughly reviewed by our staff and while not all worthy proposals can be fully funded, your donor services representative can provide you with those that best match your charitable interests.

Healthy Community Funds
To help donors who want to make a difference in a specific issue area, The Seattle Foundation created seven Healthy Community funds—each one tailored to support a critical element of a healthy community.

Building Resilience Fund
The Seattle Foundation's three-year, $6-million fund to provide comprehensive services to families in economic distress.

The Seattle Foundation Scholarship Program
Our most flexible fund, open to all types of students. You can help support a King County resident who demonstrates the greatest financial need, outstanding community involvement and academic promise.
