Scholarships offered by The Seattle Foundation are as unique as the generous donors who established them. We believe healthy communities come from strong minds built upon a foundation of idea, learning and diversity.
The Seattle Foundation lists most of its Washington-based scholarships on theWashBoard.org
. Free of cost for both students and providers, theWashBoard.org acts as a clearinghouse with vetted scholarship information and matches those seeking scholarship support with those looking to provide it. In December 2009, the Washington Scholarship Coalition, comprised of public and private organizations including The Seattle Foundation, launched theWashBoard.org to make it easier for students to efficiently find and apply for relevant scholarship opportunities. TheWashBoard.org may be used by students from Washington or students moving into Washington to attend school; scholarships posted include both in-state and out-of-state opportunities.
