With an outright gift, you transfer cash or other assets now to The Seattle Foundation and receive an immediate tax advantage. Outright gifts are often used to create a Donor Advised Fund.
With planned gifts, you give through your estate or establish other charitable vehicles that provide fixed income for you or beneficiaries.
