Volunteer for our GiveBIG Street Teams

Help promote GiveBIG by joining our day-of street teams!

May 02, 2017

Seattle Foundation is enlisting high-energy volunteers to participate in GiveBIG street teams at select Seattle and eastside locations during peak foot traffic times on GiveBIG day, May 10. Street teams consisting of 3-10 volunteers will be hitting the streets to help spread the word about GiveBIG, encourage participation and recognize those who have already donated.

Street teams will be equipped with GiveBIG t-shirts and rally signs, as well as informational flyers and “I GaveBIG today” stickers to distribute. At a couple locations, we’re partnering with STAR 101.5 FM, where volunteers will also be equipped with a branded pop-up tent and tablets to encourage on-site GiveBIG donations.

Times available include:

- 7:30am – 9:00am – Downtown Seattle & South Lake Union

-11:45am – 1:30pm – Downtown Seattle & South Lake Union

- 4:30pm – 6:00pm – Downtown Seattle & Capitol Hill locations

Volunteers will also be invited to attend as our guests, our GiveBIG partner celebration that day from 5-7pm at The Ninety – Seattle Sounders FC event space in Pioneer Square.

This is a great way for both individuals and small groups to support GiveBIG (and the nonprofits you support!). If you are interested in volunteering, please contact streetteams@seattlefoundation.org for further details.

Thanks for your support of GiveBIG!
