Continuing our pledge to engage you with the planning of GiveBIG 2017, Seattle Foundation invites King County nonprofits to attend one of three nonprofit gatherings happening this month and provide your input on different ways to approach GiveBIG. Over the summer, we studied our giving day model, reviewed feedback from donors and nonprofit partners, convened a focus group and generated new models for the event. We hope you can attend so we can share our findings with you, hear your feedback and work together to shape a successful GiveBIG 2017.
We are hosting three gatherings across the region. The agenda will be the same at each event, so you need only attend one. Please limit attendance to no more than two staff members per organization, so that we can accommodate representatives from many organizations and ensure we gather feedback from a broad range of nonprofits.
TUKWILA – Monday, October 17, 11:00am-12:30pm, Tukwila Community Center, 12424 42nd Avenue South, Tukwila
REDMOND – Monday, October 17, 3:00pm-4:30pm, King County Library-Redmond, 15990 NE 85th Street, Redmond
SEATTLE – Tuesday, October 25, 9:30am-11:00am, Town Hall-Downstairs, 1119 8th Avenue, Seattle
We know that your organizations invest significant time and resources to participate in GiveBIG and you trust that it will be a good experience for both you and your donors. Your input will help us do just that and we hope you will join us for It’s Time to Talk About GiveBIG 2017.
If you are a nonprofit in King County and interested in attending one of the three gatherings please remember to RSVP. If you are unable to attend, we’re planning a follow-up communication in late October to provide a recap of our discussions. As always, we welcome your suggestions and feedback at any time by emailing GiveBIG@seattlefoundation.org.
