The Morgan Fund, a Family Foundation at Seattle Foundation, is proud to announce the grant recipients for the 2016 Puget Sound Initiative. This initiative provides funding for small to mid-sized dance and theatre organizations located in Western Washington, Central Washington, and the Greater Portland area. There were a record-breaking 125 proposals received for this year’s cycle, and 25 organizations were selected to receive funding.  Grants ranged from $1,500 to $10,000, and the majority of funding will support arts organizations in purchasing equipment that is critical to producing high caliber performances. Details will be forthcoming about the next round of funding for the Puget Sound Initiative, which will have an application deadline in the fall of 2017.
