Elaine advises families and individuals on achieving their philanthropic goals by providing strategic consulting that enhances their giving and community impact. Elaine also manages the Scholarships Program and Youth Grantmaking Board.

Elaine has over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with a particular focus in youth development and education. She brings strong experience in relationship building and development and has worked with many of SeaFdn’s partners, including Casey Family Programs, YouthCare and Seattle Housing Authority. Elaine earned her Bachelor of Arts in business and political science, and her master’s degree in public administration from the University of Washington. Elaine serves as Chair for the Board of Trustees at Green River College, a Governor appointed position, and participates on the executive leadership committee for Washington State Opportunity Scholarship (WSOS). She was awarded the National Women's Political Caucus Heroine Award and Northwest Asian Weekly Foundation's Community Award.
Elaine has been working at Seattle Foundation since 2016.
