Madeliene leads the Community Programs team's operations, developing and improving internal systems to ensure the team has the tools and practices to best serve the community through grantmaking and civic leadership efforts.

Madeliene joined Seattle Foundation after over five years of working in the youth development sector. Previously at El Programa Hispano Católico, she designed and implemented community school programs to create more equitable and accessible social services for students and families in marginalized communities. She brings a strong ability to navigate systems and design innovative solutions to solve complex problems. In her work at SeaFdn, she strives to create an environment of teamwork and efficiency so that the Community Programs team is able to make greater impact in the community. Madeliene is an AmeriCorps alumna and attended the University of Puget Sound, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis of writing, rhetoric and culture.
Madeliene has been working at Seattle Foundation since 2017.
