Susan owns and drives Finance & Operations team planning, project management and process development. As an Operations Manager, she is the primary liaison for F&O communication across teams and collaborates on cross foundation operations initiatives.

Susan’s comes to Seattle Foundation after working with our partner organization, GlobalWA, as an Operations Manager. She’s held diverse roles in corporate account development, project management, and urban and rural land restoration projects, having owned a residential landscape design and construction company for 10 years. Susan is passionate about, and volunteers in, many environmental outreach activities, including a deep involvement with Ekone Ranch, a public land trust in Central Washington where she is part of a team envisioning long-term land stewardship. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Binghamton University and an Associate’s Degree in Landscape Design and Construction from South Seattle Community College. Outside of work, Susan enjoys birding and botanizing around the world.

Susan has been working at Seattle Foundation since 2019.
