Kristin is responsible for effective communications and media relations strategies that tell the story of Seattle Foundation's powerful, rewarding philanthropy and community impact. She develops the Foundation's voice in its efforts to make Greater Seattle a stronger, more vibrant and equitable place.

Kristin brings experience in foundation communications, strategic communications and journalism to Seattle Foundation. Formerly an award-winning reporter at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and other media outlets, Kristin harnesses research, messaging and storytelling to share the foundation’s work and impact in the community. Prior to joining SeaFdn, she worked in communications for Casey Family Programs, a national foundation dedicated to improving child welfare, as well as for a strategic communications firm. She has a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and a Master of Science from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. Raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kristin is a confirmed Seattleite who fell in love with the city at first sight.
Kristin has been working at Seattle Foundation since 2017.
