Cassie advises families, businesses, individuals and civic organizations on philanthropic strategies to support their mission and realize their philanthropic impact. Cassie coordinates our Scholarship Program, and works closely with our community of philanthropists interested in cultivating the next generation of leaders.

Cassie has utilized her development and communications skills at the United Way of Broward County, raising funds for youth literacy, emergency assistance and programs to help families earn, keep, and grow their assets. Prior to that, she worked at the Broward Education Foundation with Broward County Public Schools, improving access to higher education through mentoring and project management. Before moving into the nonprofit sector, she served in city and federal government positions for U.S. Senator Bob Graham, U.S. Senator Connie Mack and Congressman J.C. Watts.

She holds a BA in English with a concentration in Writing & Rhetoric from Florida Atlantic University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership at Seattle University.


Cassie has been working at Seattle Foundation since 2017.
