Norma leads the team of philanthropic advisors, ensuring that philanthropists receive a personal approach, access to deep community insights, and exceptional support to achieve their goals of powerful and rewarding philanthropy. Norma connects philanthropists with Seattle Foundation’s impact strategies and programmatic theory of change.
Personal Philanthropic Interests
Norma has experience as a senior manager and fundraising professional working with highly successful development programs in both higher education/research and environmental nonprofit sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication from the University of Idaho, and also studied at Washington State University’s Murrow School of Communication Graduate school. Currently Norma serves as a Trustee for the Washington State University Board of Trustees and volunteers her time as a translator.
Norma has been working at Seattle Foundation since 2018.
