Shannon coordinates our youth-focused programs, including Seattle Foundation’s Scholarship Program and our Youth Grantmaking Board (YGB), a program that helps young people use philanthropy to effect positive change in their community. She acts as liaison between staff, students and the public to provide information and resources regarding scholarship activities and YGB programs.

Shannon brings her experience working as project coordinator for Seattle Foundation’s fiscally sponsored campaign, Beyond the Frame: To Be Native. She has also supported the curatorial team at Seattle Art Museum and managed exhibitions for Chihuly Garden & Glass. Shannon has worked as a contractor with 4Culture and Seattle Public Library, and holds active memberships with various museum associations. With a Master of Arts in museology and Bachelor of Arts in anthropology, she’s well versed in the arts and culture sector, both locally and in her home state of Arizona.

Shannon has been working at Seattle Foundation since 2018.
