Aileen manages Seattle Foundation’s grassroots grantmaking program

Aileen manages the Seattle Foundation’s grassroots grantmaking program Neighbor to Neighbor, which invests in and partners with community members affected by poverty and racial disparities to increase their engagement, power and influence.

Aileen is a Northwest native who lives with her family in Southeast Seattle. A 20-year practitioner in community development, she has worked on grassroots leadership, multiracial coalition building and more. She previously served as the executive director of the White Center Community Development Association. Aileen has a Master of Public Administration from the Evans School at the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Puget Sound.

Aileen has been working at Seattle Foundation since 2017.
