To celebrate Women’s History Month in March, please join Seattle Foundation as we take a virtual walk through the Wonder of Woman International Gallery, located inside of Pacific Place Mall. With the launch of REPAIR, Seattle Foundations’ five-year, $25 million commitment to the Black community of King County, we’re proud to spotlight this powerful, Black-owned and woman-focused art gallery. We invite everyone, including our philanthropic partners, donors, and grantees, to virtually tour this space which celebrates Black women and girls, rejuvenation, and healing.

Veronica Very, visionary founder of Wonder of Women International (WOW), has a lifelong history of working with women across all spectrums. She has always envisioned helping women around the nation connect with their roots and the ancestral tradition of storytelling. Join us as we learn from her journey. Opening remarks will be made by Seattle Foundation’s Chief Engagement Officer Stephanie McLemore Bray.

Veronica Very owns a fine art company, HV BlackArtDesign, with her husband and visual artist, Hiawatha D. She has designed major events for global leaders including President Barack Obama’s Re-election luncheon at the Seattle Paramount Theater and Seattle Sweden Week featuring Her Royal Highness, Crown Princess Victoria.
