
Robert Rosen is the founder of Peak Impact Advisors, a philanthropy consultancy that advises donors, nonprofits, and intermediary organizations across the philanthropic spectrum. He brings thirty years of executive-level experience in the philanthropic, government, and corporate sectors.
From 2014 to 2024, Robert served as Head of Philanthropic Partnerships at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where he worked directly with Bill Gates, Melinda Gates, and Warren Buffett to build and operate the Giving Pledge — a global network advancing the philanthropy of the world’s highest-capacity donors. His team also helped launch the Giving Tuesday movement and the Philanthropy Asia Alliance. Previously, he served as Head of the Executive Office and Director of Communications at the Gates Foundation.
Earlier in his career, Robert advised Fortune 500 CFOs at the Corporate Executive Board, served as Political Director for Senator Edward Kennedy, and served in the White House as Assistant to the President and Director of Advance.
Robert serves on the Advisory Boards of the Clinton School of Public Service, Accelerate India Philanthropy, and the Hong Kong Academy for Wealth Legacy, and is Board Chair of the Alpental Snoqualmie Foundation. He holds degrees from Cornell Law School and the University of Vermont. Robert lives in Seattle with his wife, three children, and a Springer Spaniel.
