Seattle Foundation Appoints Tiffany Patterson as Chief Marketing Officer, Advancing Bold, Community-Centered Strategies  

SEATTLE, WASH. December 10, 2025- Today, Seattle Foundation, the region’s leader in community-centered philanthropy, announced the appointment of Tiffany Patterson as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Patterson brings a distinguished record of leading integrated, purpose-driven marketing, and communications campaigns that elevate organizations, strengthen community partnerships, and drive measurable social impact. 

In this role, Patterson will guide foundation-wide strategic communications, supporting funds, grantees, and major initiatives that advance Seattle Foundation’s overall mission. Her leadership ushers in the organization’s next chapter of public engagement as it enters its 80th year of its founding – rooted in innovation, impact, and deep connection to the evolving needs of the Seattle community.

As a seasoned executive in marketing and communications, Patterson has held key roles supporting major brands, campaigns, and social initiatives, including Procter & Gamble, the Obama Administration’s Educate to Innovate Initiative, Reinvestment Fund, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, and the award-winning agency GSD&M. Across sectors, she has built a reputation for delivering integrated, collaborative strategies that amplify impact and advance equity. 

Patterson’s career reflects a deep commitment to social change and community-driven storytelling. She led a health equity campaign, in partnership with John Legend’s Human Level initiative and the City of Atlanta, that reached more than 2 million residents in support of an equitable recovery program. Patterson also shaped socioeconomic and environmental policy strategies for marginalized communities across Southeast Asia. Her work consistently demonstrates a capacity to build awareness; mobilize action; and drive lasting, people-centered outcomes.
