Welcome, New PAC Members!

Professional Advisors Council (PAC) update: welcoming two new members in 2021

The Professional Advisors Council (PAC) is a group of professional advisors who have committed themselves to advising Seattle Foundation’s philanthropic services staff and serving as ambassadors on behalf of the Foundation. The PAC meets regularly throughout the year to exchange charitable giving ideas, share new issues in philanthropy, and establish relationships with other advisors.

We are excited to welcome two new additional members in 2021: John Creahan and Twig Mills.

John Creahan is the founder of Cairn Law, a Seattle law firm servicing the legal needs of families, individuals, businesses, and nonprofits throughout Washington State. John’s main practice areas are estate planning, charitable gift planning, probate trust administration, business law & transition planning, and nonprofits & private foundations.

In his practice, John encourages his clients to be thoughtful about their life journey and causes as they seek opportunities to provide for their families, protect assets, avoid unnecessary taxation, and the greater good.

Twig Mills is a Vice President and Senior Trust Officer for Washington Trust Bank’s Wealth Management & Advisory Services in Western Washington. Twig works closely with individuals and family groups and their advisors in creating and implementing effective financial and estate plans which promote sound investment and wealth management goals. On behalf of Washington Trust, he manages living and testamentary trusts, probate, retirement and investment agency accounts.

Also an attorney, Twig assists his clients in understanding and addressing the multitude of financial planning considerations related to wealth management, estate planning, retirement, education, and insurance issues. As part of the clients’ wealth management team, Twig partners with their existing legal and tax advisors to ensure correct integration of the best wealth planning strategies for each client’s unique circumstances and goals.

Our recruitment efforts are focused on CPAs and professional advisors on the Eastside and South King County. To learn more about Seattle Foundation’s PAC, please contact Jen Lee, senior advisor.
