Jessica Ross has worked in philanthropy for 20+ years in the Seattle area. For Jessica, building relationships is at the heart of philanthropy and community engagement. Her community organizing career began over 20 years ago while serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in South Africa.
Since then, she’s been on a journey to approach philanthropy from a foundation of relationship building, equity, and racial justice. Jessica believes that through collective action, we can all foster connections and investments in our community. She has her Master’s in Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University and has worked with youth-serving, advocacy, and social justice organizations across her career. Outside of work, Jessica likes to travel, knit, and spend time with family and friends.
Jessica has been working at Seattle Foundation since 2025.
