Lindsay Goes Behind (Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas) comes to the Seattle Foundation with a deep and abiding passion for equity, justice, and community-led solutions to systemic issues that have far reaching impacts. With a long history in culturally rooted community-based organizing, direct service, political advocacy, and philanthropy, she comes to the Seattle Foundation excited to contribute to the evolving field of philanthropy by centering community benefit and liberation and creating lasting partnerships with centers of wealth committed to like goals.  

Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Western Washington University and a Masters in Social Work (anti-oppression practice and community based participatory research focus) from University of Washington, and embraces her culture and traditional teachings as the guiding force in her work and life. She currently serves as Board Co-Chair for Yehaw Indigenous Creatives Collective, as well as member of the City of Seattle’s Equitable Development Initiative’s Advisory Board and Seattle-King County Coalition on Homelessness’ Board of Directors. 

Lindsay has been working at Seattle Foundation since 2024.
