At Seattle Foundation, we count professional advisors among our closest partners. Through this important partnership, Seattle Foundation help professional advisors find the best solutions for their clients, from establishing a donor advised fund, to providing strategic counsel on the donation of a complex asset, to integrating philanthropy into an estate plan.
Our Professional Advisors Council (PAC) is a group of professional advisors who have committed themselves to serving as ambassadors on behalf of the Foundation. The PAC meets three times each year to exchange charitable giving ideas, discuss new issues in philanthropy, and network with other advisors.
Over the years, Seattle Foundation has been fortunate with many dedicated and expert professional advisors who have served on the PAC. It is with the utmost gratitude that we salute three advisors who recently retired from the PAC: Twig Mills, Mike Carrico, and Mark Janci.
- Twig Mills joined the PAC in 2021. He served as Vice President and Senior Trust Officer for Washington Trust Bank’s Wealth Management & Advisory Services.
- Mike Carrico joined the PAC in 2005. He was a partner at Fox Rothschild in Seattle. He advised clients throughout the west on estate planning, business planning, and related tax planning.
- Mark Janci joined the PAC in 2011. Marc was a Regional Director and Financial Advisor at Halbert Hargrove in Bellevue.
With these departures, we are also excited to announce and welcome two new members: Rochelle Haller and Richard Yu.
- Rochelle is a Partner at Fox Rothschild LLP. She has more than 20 years of experience working in tax and wealth planning, both as an attorney and in private wealth management.
- Robert Yi is an Assistant Vice President and Relationship Manager at Washington Trust Bank’s Wealth Management and Advisory Team. Robert has been in the financial services industry for more than 15 years, beginning in customer service before becoming a relationship manager and specializing in wealth management.
